Unemployment rate edged up to 25.2 pct in June
Greece’s seasonally adjusted (SA) unemployment rate edged up to 25.2 percent in June from 25 percent in May, the Hellenic Statistical Agency (ELSTAT) said on Thursday. The June headline figure indicates the second lowest reading in the course of 2015.
The non-seasonally-adjusted (NSA) figures displayed a steeper rise by 1.2 percentage points (pp) to 25.2 percent in June from 24 percent in May. Similarly to the SA rate, the NSA figure for June is the second lowest reading in the first-half.
