Tsipras softens stance on coalition options as leaders head to debate
With opinion polls suggesting that SYRIZA’s hopes of renewing its partnership with Independent Greeks in government are disappearing, Alexis Tsipras has started to soften his position on the possibility of cooperating with other parties.
Last week, Tsipras did not rule out the possibility of Tsipras working with PASOK and To Potami but said that he would not lead such a government. On Thursday, the SYRIZA leader appeared more open to working with PASOK.
