Greek concerns that slow progress in the European Union’s liberalisation of visas for Turkish citizens might undermine cooperation on the migrant issue are set to be allayed this week.
Reuters reported on Sunday that the European Commission is set to announce on Wednesday that “Turkey has broadly met the criteria” and will recommend that the European Parliament and member states approved the process by the end of June.
