Primary surplus at 1.24 bln in Feb on lower spending and recovering revenues

Greece’s budget execution showed the year to date primary surplus stood at 1.24 billion euros in February, which means it is down 40 percent but the underperformance has been trimmed to just 168 million from 1.37 billion in January, according to the Finance Ministry (MoF) preliminary budget bulletin published on Friday.
